Since 1999 we have organised numerous French themed events - visits to the Christmas Market in St Pierre, school exchanges, an Anglo-French kids soccer tournament, French evenings at The Grouse & Ale, a Boules afternoon at The Chequers and of course exchange visits between the residents of Lane End and St Pierre d'Oleron.

We also run a monthly "Twinning Cafe" at Lane End Village Hall or Lane End Community Centre on the first Saturday of every month from 10.00AM - 12.00 Noon - pop by for a tea or coffee and some croissants or French cakes.

As we approach our 20th anniversary we have events planned so please get involved - after all, it's all about communities - on both sides of the channel.
