We used to make a regular trip to St Pierre every Christmas for their Marche de Noel so having missed the last few years it was very special to be back seeing old friends in St Pierre.

As we move in to the 20th year of our ties it was important to gauge their feelings about twinning and we had a really positive reception; a group of around 20 to 30 will be visiting us in May - more about those plans soon.

The Saturday was a bit of a wash out - storm Deidre lived up to expectations - but on Sunday the weather cleared up and our stall proved popular.
